Biostatistics Services
Collaboration with a biostatistician typically provides higher quality and reliable results that stand up to critical peer review. Issues that are not obvious to investigators are identified and addressed and all efforts are made to ensure the investigator’s aims are met through statistically rigorous methods.

Clinical Research Support
The Clinical Research Center (CRC) is a key link in the translation of new scientific knowledge to impact public health. Resources available to researchers include nursing support; a specimen processing laboratory; a core laboratory for running specialized assays; and bionutrition resources, including a metabolic kitchen, body composition & metabolism laboratory, and an exercise physiology lab.

Community Engagement Services
The Community Engagement Program is dedicated to enhancing community health and reducing health disparities, particularly in the Appalachian region.

Recruitment and Retention
The CCTS offers Recruitment and Retention consultation to help researchers find eligible study participants.

Regulatory and Ethics
Regulatory Knowledge and Support provides services for drafting and review of protocols, consents, and data and safety monitoring plans.

Research Evaluation Services
The Center for Health Outcomes, Policy and Evaluation Studies (HOPES) performs program evaluation services and health economic analyses for a wide range of constituencies. The Center can also provide consultations pertaining to research evaluation.

Research Informatics Services
The OSU CCTS Research Informatics Services Program provides basic, clinical and translational investigators a central location for data processing and management.
