Pharmacoanalytic Shared Resource (PhASR) supports drug development, experimental design and data analysis
The Pharmacoanalytic Shared Resource (PhASR) supports pre-clinical and clinical drug development at the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) and the OSU Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) by providing high quality, cost-effective and reliable bioanalytical method development, quantitative sample analysis, and pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and pharmacogenetic experimental design and data analysis.
PhASR's goals are to provide the CCC and CCTS research and drug development community with:
- High quality, state-of-the-art, cost-competitive analytical expertise and instrumentation for quantitation of drugs and metabolites in biological specimens
- Pharmacokinetic data (in real-time when possible) to enable pharmacologic data to be incorporated into clinical decision-making during dose escalation and interpretation of patient response and toxicity or in pre-clinical drug development efforts
- Expertise in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/pharmacogenetic study design and data interpretation during submission of clinical protocols, grant proposals, study reports and publications
